"I haven’t been to mint in a little bit, but I got a new dental hygienist, which I was slightly apprehensive of because it’s always hard to start a new relationship. My hygienist, Elaine, I believe her name was, was absolutely amazing. Kind very sweet and very informative. Also, I was very sad to see that my regular dentist, Dr. Bui, Is no longer with the practice, but I found out it was just because of family reasons. However, my new dentist was amazing and kind and sweet, and as a person of color in professional fields, I can’t tell you how much it means to me to see other people of color in professional fields."

Ellyn eased my anxiety by giving me a few minutes to myself before she began, then explaining everything to me, treating me with the upmost kindness during the cleaning, and encouraging me along the way.
